Leveraging over 20 years of research-based practical experience, Vicki partners with businesses to architect and execute talent management, assessment, and leadership development strategies that produce an agile talent bench and enable leaders at all levels to develop the skills and agility they need to realize their full potential. Having led high-performing CoE and revenue-producing teams in multiple organizations, Vicki understands the unique challenges of leadership across contexts and geographies. As an ICF-certified coach, she strives to be the ‘unlocker’ of insights to bring clarity to complexity and help leaders tune out all the noise and focus on what’s important.
Vicki’s professional background includes a recent role as Global Talent and Development Leader at Cargill Inc. Prior, she was with UnitedHealth Group as Vice President of Talent Management, Development & Learning. Before UHG, she was a Managing Consultant at IMPACT Group, one of the world’s largest WBE (Women’s Business Enterprise) career development firms. Earlier, she led product development for Korn Ferry where she was responsible for bringing new client solution innovations to market. Other relevant experience includes organizational effectiveness roles with The Hartford and training and sales management positions with Marriott and Ritz-Carlton hotels.
Vicki is the author of Becoming an Agile Leader, the definitive business book on Learning Agility, and co-author of several books on leadership and team effectiveness. Her articles on trending topics in leader and talent development have been featured in publications such as Fortune, BusinessWeek, HR Executive, and Buyouts Magazine. Vicki is a frequent speaker at global industry conferences.
As adjunct faculty at St. Mary’s University of Minnesota, Vicki designed and taught Masters level courses in Organization Change and Development and Strategic Talent Management.
